Railway bridge near Glasnacardoch, Mallaig
Part of the Fort William to Mallaig line bringing passengers to the port - many to join the onwards ferry to Skye - Mallaig also being at the end of the so-called "Road to the Isles" which provides the only alternative to rail travel into the area.

The A830; old meets new at Glasnacardoch
The old access into Mallaig is now numbered B8008 and the new road follows the shore into the fishing port and rail terminus.
