Land Sea and Island Centre Arisaig
In 2012 the Arisaig Community Trust obtained care of this shop, exhibition and tourist information Centre that was created on the out of the old mid 19th century village blacksmiths in July 1999. Supported to the tune of £162,500 from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund, Knoydart Construction won the contract for the first stage of the buildings refurbishment in February 2015. Sam Foster Architects eco-designed refurbishment and extension opened again in June 2015.
