Transport Hub
Someone, somewhere, had a very sensible idea when Fort William was being modernised. The bus station is right beside the railway station, and there is a built-in taxi rank. A shining example of common sense that some much larger places could usefully emulate.

An Aird shinty pitch
An Aird is the home of Fort William Shinty Club, who currently play in National Division One. It has a small stand, and a raised embankment around the pitch. The ground has hosted a number of big shinty games, including the Camanachd Cup final and shinty/hurling internationals.
