St. Kessogs
A Scottish Episcopal Church in Auchterarder.
St. Kessog was born circa 460AD in Munster, Eire. He came to Scotland circa 500AD and built a monastery on the island now known as Inchtavannoch near Luss on Loch Lomond. He travelled far and wide throughout what was then known as Lennox evangelising. He was killed by brigands circa 520AD at Bandry - a cairn was raised in his memory at Bandry and became a site for pilgrimage. His name was for a time used as a rallying cry for troops all over scotland. He is sometimes known as St.MacKessog. Fuller details can be found at http://www.stkessog.org.uk/st_kessog.htm.

Sunday Service
A bus belonging to Stagecoach Perth on the number 19 Sunday's Blackford to Perth service. Scottish bus routes can be a bit confusing for the visitor - during the week this route is operated by Docherty's Midland Coaches as are most of the others in the area.
