Former tollhouse
Surveyed by the Milestone Society. On the B996, Main Street in Glenfarg, Old Toll Cottage. Made of dressed stone it is probable that the original building was only the section between the two chimneys with the right hand end added at a later date.

Glenfarg Hotel
The hotel is an imposing site in this small rural village. At one time a railway brought many visitors to the area, but the line closed in 1970, and parts of the trackbed have since been built-over by the M90 motorway, which by-passes Glenfarg.

Glenfarg Hotel
Located on Main Street, at its junction with Ladeside. The hotel was built in about 1890 when the Perth to Kinross railway brought many visitors to this part of Scotland. The railway closed in 1970.

Water feature and Bank House
Unfortunately, the water feature was not functioning at the time of my visit. The steps are the main entrance to Glenfarg Green, a community garden created by the then residents of Bank House (in the background here) and then gifted to the Perth and Kinross Council in 2008.
