Parish Church, Glenfarg
Located in Church Brae, the church is known as Arngask Church, but if formerly named Abernathy and Dron and Arngask Church of Scotland. The church bears a simple plaque inscribed with the dates 1844 and 1906. The church pictured was built between 1906 and 1907, but it incorporates a part of a former Free Church, built on the same site in 1844.

The former Arngask Library
Erected in memory of H.G.Corbett, in 1892. Glenfarg is a small village, south of Perth, which flourished in the 19 C after the coming of the railway and the construction of the Forth Bridge. The village once had four hotels. but the closing of the railway in 1970 and the opening of the M90 meant the village was bypassed.

Water feature and Bank House
Unfortunately, the water feature was not functioning at the time of my visit. The steps are the main entrance to Glenfarg Green, a community garden created by the then residents of Bank House (in the background here) and then gifted to the Perth and Kinross Council in 2008.

Former tollhouse
Surveyed by the Milestone Society. On the B996, Main Street in Glenfarg, Old Toll Cottage. Made of dressed stone it is probable that the original building was only the section between the two chimneys with the right hand end added at a later date.
