Abernethy, Tower and Cross
Abernethy is most famous for its 72 feet tall Round Tower. This Pictish tower was built in the 9th century - the only other remaining example in the country is at Brechin Cathedral. http://www.abernethyvillage.co.uk/index.html

Abernethy War Memorial
The memorial is a Category B listed building in the form of a Market Cross. It is stone built with a stepped octagonal base surmounted by a pillar. The Abernethy Round Tower, which is in the adjacent square is in the background.
