Tay Street in the snow
Looking across to Tay Street from Queens Bridge. This is not normally a lorry park but trunk road closures throughout the county forced many vehicles to be left at the roadside in the town centre.

Canal Street in the snow
Heavy snowfall all day Sunday, with more on Monday morning, left most Perth roads in a very poor condition. Don't blame the gritters - they were all needed on the county's trunk roads and motorway. This wide load was parked in Canal Street, presumably waiting for its onward route to be cleared. Just beyond, the black car with a cloud of exhaust was trying unsuccessfully to leave a car park but the front wheels had no grip on the road surface.
