Salutation Hotel
Known in the 60's as "The Sally" (maybe still is), this was the place to be on a Saturday night. People flocked to the place from as far away as Dundee, Blairgowrie, Crieff and many other places in the area. It was the best dancin' for miles.

Speygate in Sunday sunshine
Looking north up Speygate from Canal Street with the spire of St Matthews church showing over the rooftops of South Street. The Speygate car park is usually full at this time of day, probably the car park of choice for people worshipping in the city centre churches.
