Buildings in Rait
The one to the left was at one time the village Smiddy. Rait is a small village in the Braes of Gowrie on the southern edge of the Sidlaw hills. The village and the neighbouring Inchture, are twinned with Fleac in France.

Thatched Cottages
No wonder I had trouble working out where this shot was taken. Compare with Image] taken 35 years later. The nearest cottage has lost its thatch, and the next one has been demolished altogether and replaced by a modern one.
