Astonishing 2-acre garden hidden away in Perth; if you are lucky you can get tea and scones from the house which is still privately owned.

Spring in the Branklyn Gardens
The gardens are possibly at their best in spring when the azaleas and rhododendrons are in flower. Near the bottom left of the picture a single Himalayan poppy (meconopsis) provides a splash of bright blue; this plant is well suited to the conditions here and has almost become the symbol of Branklyn.
