Balnacraig School
Tesco van delivering to Balnacraig residential school. Young people being educated here are facing various long-term barriers to their learning; social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The building has been used for many years as an educational establishment. It originally functioned as an industrial school in the 1800s.

Ice house interior
This is the inside of Image as seen from the doorway. The lower two thirds of the space is below ground level. (The white surround to the picture is flash light reflected by the sides of the doorway. I have corrected the distortion caused by tilting the camera downwards to include the floor.)

Ice house in the snow
This building was once used to store ice, made in the winter for use in the summer. I assume it belonged to nearby Bellwood House. The storage chamber is set deep into the ground and there is a steep drop inside the doorway - see Image A fence should keep out the unwary, but it has been broken down.
