Snowy side street
These cars were parked here after the first (lesser) snow fall on Saturday when their drivers realised that they could go no higher up the road. The accumulations of snow from Sunday and Monday have made this and many other roads in Perth completely impassible. A steady stream of pedestrians could be seen all day on Monday heading across Queens Bridge to buy provisions from the town centre. The most organised were loading their shopping into rucksacks.

Roe deer

Beech hedge in spring
The gentle rustle of dead leaves falling from the beech hedge is a sure sign that spring is really here. This year's growth is just starting to show.
