Fields beside the River Spey
The River Spey (flowing behind the trees in the centre of the image) broke its banks following heavy rain at the beginning of October 2023. Two weeks later the fields are still flooded here. The Speyside Steam Railway line crosses in the foreground.

A95, Strathspey
Travelling west. At this point, there are fine open views to the left (south) of the road, looking down into the Spey Valley. The higher slopes of the hillside to the right (north) are wooded. The Cairngorm mountains provide a dramatic backdrop.
