Caravan site
Very busy, especially with many vehicles banished from the temporary orienteer's site by mud. The 3000+ competitor Scottish 6 days was based at Grantown. The orienteers had their own dedicated campsite, but it soon became too muddy in this wet Summer to allow vehicular access to the site. The RVs moved to commercial sites such as this one.

Gate, Heathfield Woods.
The land here was probably free of trees when the gate was put in. A railway relic, the gate slowly rusts beside the long closed Highland Railway, now a footpath.
