Craig MacLean Leisure Centre
Sports hall in Grantown, named after the international cyclist. Opened the previous day (4th August 2007) and immediately hosted a major international sports event, Spey 2007, a 4000 competitor series of orienteering races held in local forests over the following seven days.

A Grantown road junction with an old signpost
The junction is on the northeast side of Grantown, where the B9102 to Knockando and Archiestown leaves the main road, the A939 to Nairn and Forres. The name Lochendorbe on the old signpost would be spelt as Lochindorb on modern signs and maps.

Last control, Spey 2007
Leaving Heathfield Woods and about to run over the field that hosts the Grantown Show. The end of a week's racing in the 2007 Scottish Six Days. Thousands of orienteers from all over the world will be meeting in Perth for the next event, in August 2009. The weather was grim at times, but this was a still a superbly organised and very enjoyable week.
Before the coming of the big city road races like the Great North Run, this was Britain's biggest sporting event in terms of competitor numbers.
