Grantown-On-Spey
A view of the southern end of the town, set in a forest with the Monadh Ruadh beyond. The hill view is centred on the deep glen of Stathnethy with Ben Bynack to the left and Cairngorm the higher hill to the right. Even from here the Ptarmigan restaurant/railway station is visible with the naked eye. The aptly named Beinn Mheadhoin is visible as a lighter hill in the middle of the photograph.
