Grampian Road, Aviemore
Looking northwards during a day of heavy snowfall on top of already lying snow. At this time up to 50cm of undrifted snow was lying in this part of Strathspey and it presented a real danger to buildings, with casualties from collapsed roofs. A few days later there was a 12km queue on the road to Cairn Gorm due to the attraction of exceptional skiing conditions.
