Perennial planting
The plot at the corner of Glasgow Road and Murray Crescent has been planted with perennials to provide year-round colour and interest. This contrasts with the corner at Needless Road, just to the west, which uses bedding plants.

Plaque on Needless Road, Perth
Plaque commemorating Covenanters from Fife who were killed at the Battle of Tibbermore (Tippermuir) in 1644. The plaque is difficult to read:

6 o'clock on a weekday morning and the flowers are getting a good watering while they are still in the shade. This display is at the junction of Needless Road and Glasgow Road; the sunlit houses in the background are on Glasgow Road.
