Perth LNE ( ex-North British) Locomotive Depot, with contrasting locomotives
View eastward, seen from a train departing southwards from Perth General station. On the left is ex-Great Northern D1 4-4-0 No. 62215, to the right ex-North British D30 4-4-0 No. 2426 'Cuddie Headrigg'. This Depot was closed soon afterwards (7/1/50), when its small allocation (in 1947, 19 locomotives) was transferred to the main Perth South Depot.

Perth railway station, Perth and Kinross
Opened in 1848 as Perth (General) by the Scottish Central Railway, later part of the Caledonian Railway, this station expanded over time as more lines were built, giving different styles of architecture. View north from a departing train.
