Behind Ben Alder Lodge
The near pristine iron deer fence alongside the road up to Loch Pattack gives a glimpse of a 19th century stalking estate. Despite its modernity, the fence is already damaged by falling branches. Today, deer are normally kept out by wire fences, but here money was no object.
