Gate, Kinloch Rannoch
A friendly addition to the gate. What a pleasant change from the endless bossy notices and prohibitions you see elsewhere on this island. Best of all - the less friendly and utterly pointless notices further up the hill that tried to discourage ascents of Beinn a' Chuallaich have been scored out.

Power house, Allt Mor hydro plant Kinloch Rannoch
A relatively small 350 kW hydro plant, operating with a Pelton wheel and a supply head of 247m by the Allt Mor. The building is a cut above the utilitarian industrial type and displays real-time power output and cumulative energy generated. It was opened in November 2015 and is operated by Mor Hydro - see http://www.morhydro.com/projects/allt-mor-hydro/. See also Richard Webb's photograph Image for construction in progress.
