Tummel Bridge
I always thought it a great pity that the hideously ugly new bridge was crammed so close to General Wade's elegant old arched bridge across the River Tummel.

Old and new bridges over the Tummel
The original Tummel bridge is a Wade construction dating from 1730. Less picturesque is the modern replacement, on the B846 Wade road to Aberfeldy.
