Mill Street, Perth
The Congregational church stands at the corner of Mill Street and Kinnoull Street next to one pub and opposite another. On the opposite side of Kinnoull Street you can see part of the recently-built council offices. The vehicle parked next to the bus stance by the church is providing water for the hanging baskets.

The Fair Maid's House
This featured in Sir Walter Scott's novel, "The Fair Maid of Perth" as the home of Catharine Glover, 'the most beautiful young woman of the city or the vicinity'. She was named from the trade she practised and indeed the house was used by the Guild of Glovers from 1629-1800. However the story is set around the 1390's and includes the story of the famous battle of the North Inch in 1396 when Clan Chattan and Clan Kay met in battle to settle a quarrel. Most unlikely this building was then built. It is now a craft shop.

Wartime firefighting sign
This is a WWII sign to firemen for a source of water. It is on the side of a former Pullers of Perth building. A wavy line is just visible across the centre of the circle, and perhaps blue or black paint. The arrow points down to a manhole cover, and I assume it gives access to the town lade. The lade runs beneath Mill Street, briefly emerging at the east end of the road, before joining the Tay.
