Low's Work Weir
The Category B listed weir is mediaeval, rebuilt about 1622-4. It was built to divert water into the King's Lade, which runs into Perth, and powered several mills. Some kind of development is underway on the other side of the river.

Weir on the River Almond
It is believed that the first weir to be built on this site was built as part of an Iron age defensive system. And then later turned into a weir to supply water wheels for the nearby settlement.
