The layby in a smoothed out corner of the road had been closed to store stone for resurfacing work. I squeezed in to listen to the last few overs of the England - New Zealand one day international.

Black Water at Strone, Bridge of Cally
The Black Water was originally named Shee Water in Glen Shee and just beyond this point it joins with the River Ardle to become the River Ericht.
