Old Clunie Castle motte
The steep north end of the motte with terracing around the slope. The motte has a few stones towards the south end, most likely fragments of the 12th century castle occupied by Edward 1 in 1296. Before that there was a 9th century palace of King Kenneth McAlpin on the same site.

Clunie parish church possible watch house
An enigmatic building, possibly a watch house built in the early 1800s, incorporating mediaeval fragments, as a shelter for those guarding newly buried corpses against the activities of grave robbers. Fresh bodies were in great demand by the anatomy schools.
