Old Milepost by the B1081, Old Great North Road, Toll Bar
Cast iron post by the B1081 (was A1), in parish of Great Casterton (Rutland District), Old Great North Road, Toll Bar, back to low stone wall, covered by ivy, on Southwest side of road. Erected by the Grantham South District turnpike trust in the 19th century.

Wood stack
The Toll Bar site is not just a garden centre, but a small industrial estate with kindergarten, art supplies, technology, and other business - all in timber buildings. Because the oldest business on the site is a supplier of timber buildings. This woodpile is another of their sidelines - firewood.

Car wash
The days of filling stations having car wash machines are behind us. Now people have replaced machines, because they can do the wheels, boot, seats, glass with all the correct materials.
