The Nene Way
A short section of concrete path that reconnects walkers with the River Nene after a detour avoiding private river frontage in Wansford. This access takes you down to the river and under the A1 and then onwards to Castor

A1 Bridge Over the Nene at Wansford
The A1 passes just to the east of Wansford where is crosses the river Nene. This is the old original bridge and carries the north bound carriageway. A few yards to the east a modern concrete structure carries the south bound carriageway.
