Buses at Sacrewell Lodge farm
It was a little surprising to spot this London Bus across the fields on the Hereward Way, although I had already seen it a few days earlier on the A1 nearby. It is stored here at Sacrewell Lodge Farm. What particularly took my interest was that the 159 was the last route in London to have Routemasters as a regular service and it used to run past the end of the road where I lived for many years in Streatham Hill, South London. Also hidden away on the farm here are an open top red bus and an old Greenline coach, which can both just be seen in the photograph.

Turning for Thornhaugh off A1
An old spelling for Thornhaugh was Thornhaw, so presumably that is how it is pronounced.
