Hunters Rest, Church Street
House from around 1800, with later alterations. Limestone blocks with freestone dressings and Collyweston stone slates to the main roof. Note the gothick-style tracery in the windows. The area in front of the house was originally part of the village green. Listed Grade II.

Alwalton Village Post Office
A notice affixed to the front boundary fence, describes the Post Office as, 'Alwalton Village Post Office Stores and Tea Room'. Originally a cottage, of which the Post Office is just a part, the property dates back to the late 18th century and is Grade II Listed.

Gateway to April Cottage
Gateway to April Cottage at 4 Church Street (see Image). The gateway, inscribed "APRIL ICM 1684" is not original but came from April House in village of Farcet to the south of Peterborough, which was demolished c.1975 with the gateway rebuilt here.
