The Maltings, Alderman's Drive
Now a care home. Ordnance Survey documents indicate that in 1965 there was a cut mark benchmark levelled at 13.969m above Newlyn Datum near the corner of the original building. See www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm89955

#104 Alderman's Drive
Ordnance Survey documents indicate that in 1965 there was a cut mark benchmark levelled at 14.576m above Newlyn Datum on the side of the house beside the wooden gate. It was not possible to gain access to check if it is still there.

Park at junction of Midland Road and Rathbone Crescent
In 1926 the land here was allotments, but by 1965 a bakery and dairy was on the site with an Ordnance Survey cut mark benchmark levelled at 12.536m above Newlyn Datum on the bakery building www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm117613 . The buildings were demolished in 2011 Image, and the area redeveloped.

The demise of the Model Bakery in Midland Road

Post Graduate Medical Centre, Midland Road
The wire barriers and security notices suggest empty buildings. Peterborough district hospital closed in December 2010. The future of this site is uncertain but potentially demolition and new housing will emerge when economic conditions improve.
