As the villages in this area go, Docking is a larger village, but is still mainly constructed in the typical Norfolk fashion with brick and flint.

Not easy to work out what's what without being shown around but I think that this is part of the service court. Some of the service court buildings are Grade II listed although from the descriptions on the English Heritage website http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/search/details.aspx?pid=2&id=221558 this is not one of them.

The blob in the grass visible through the gateway is a pillbox. Very handy.
