The East end as bashed around with. The alcove shows the only remaining evidence of the probable Lady Chapel which extended another 25 foot eastwards.

The mark was used on the Thrapstone to Chelmsford line of the First Primary Levelling of England & Wales in 1851-1857. It was levelled with a height of 43.803' above OD (Liverpool). Description: 35.
