A Post Office van and an ex Post Office
The recent spate of enforced Post Office closures now means a visit by a travelling Post Office Counters van. So what was a perfectly good village shop and post office serving a wide rural community is now having to re adjust its business in a very difficult climate and the paying customers are reduced to queuing in the street for stamps and postal services, progress!!

Post Office Closure Threat
Along with many communities both rural and urban, Great Gidding is set to lose its post office and potentially the shop. The villagers have mounted a strong campaign to try and retain this service.
