Parish pump and flagpole
Replica of the old parish pump made to commemorate the millennium in 2000, using fragments of the original. A sign states that the water is undrinkable, but this is of little account as the pump appears to be non-functional!

Looking in the Bluntisham direction from Bluntisham Road's junction with East Street and High Street. There are several places in England with the name Colne; it is taken from a pre-English river name of uncertain origin.

The Green Man, Colne
The entrance to the pub - the only one in Colne - looks suitably festive on the Sunday after Christmas, even though the weather conditions were wet and miserable.
