The Welcome Inn, Skegness
When this photograph was taken in 1979, the Welcome Inn was a Shipstone's house. Shipstone's was a major Nottingham brewery but this pub lay well outside its normal sphere of influence - it made sense though, given the number of Nottingham people who took holidays on the Lincolnshire coast. The beer garden tables and seats are definitely of their time and don't look very comfortable.
