Silver Street, Wainfleet All Saints
Silver Street runs parallel to the railway for a short distance. Replacement of the track was in progress and lighting equipment was positioned for working on through the night.

Railway Level Crossing, Wainfleet
The crossing gates had recently been replaced at Wainfleet and here track replacement was underway, both at the railway crossing, station and station approach. A free shuttle bus (extreme left) was employed to get people to the town centre, much to the amusement of the local kids who were using it for their enjoyment.

The old wooden level crossing gates were recently replaced with full-barriers. On this day it was replacement of the track. Both the signalbox and station can be seen.
Extreme left is a free shuttle bus for conveying people from that side of the track to the town centre.
