Disused building beside River Steeping
It bears the date of 1905. I have since ascertained this was a water tower which served the Wainfleet and surrounding village areas. The tank was removed around 50 years ago.

The sprouts have gone...
....only to be replaced by another crop of something or other. Interesting the farmers in this area are now developing a system whereby more than two crops are grown in a field at a time, hence the ploughing in two different directions. See also Image]
