Road into Mavis Enderby...
Er, well one of them. Fortunately there is another. My map is out of date but not that old, but shows this as a normal road. It must have had some help to get like this in so short a time. Round the corner it is simply a stony path.

St.Michael's church, Mavis Enderby, Lincs.
Victorian 'restorations' of 1870, 1875 & 1894 give St.Michael's a curious appearance .... note the strange dormer windows in the nave ! Perpendicular inside and a Norman pillar piscina in the south porch.
