Pilgrim Hospital, Boston
The gigantic main ward block went up some time between 1967 and 1974. The design came courtesy of Building Design Partnership who presumably did not suggest blue. The hospital has since mushroomed into a sprawling monster (architecturally).

Pilgrim Hospital, Boston
The external facade of the hospital, which in 2001-2003 received repair and refurbishment work costing £3.7 million. It was carried out for the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust and is expected to reduce the hospital's running costs as well as extend the life of the building.

Actually it's the Pilgrim Hospital Day Nursery, which is a purpose built 59 place day nursery situated within the grounds of Pilgrim Hospital. They work in partnership with the Hospital to provide childcare for NHS Trust staff, and are also open to the general public.
