River Haven sea bank
The sea bank on the south side of the River Haven is clearly seen here, with the tidal river a few metres above the surrounding land. This is the new sea wall, the older one being further inland which would have meant that the area to the right where the industrial buildings are situated would have previously been flooded.

Pylon Forest
A number of electricity supply routes converge here on the south side of the River Haven, creating a forest of pylons. The horses seem happy to graze beneath them.

River Haven sea bank
The River Haven flows through the Port of Boston. Here, shortly after high tide, it can be seen to be much higher than the surrounding land, protected by substantial sea banks, this being on the south of the river.
