St Neots railway station
The station approach is now mostly a car park, with no sign of the large covered cycle storage that we see on lines in the Midlands. Maybe that is to come.

St Neots railway station
The station was opened in 1850 by the Great Northern Railway as part of their London extension from Peterborough to King's Cross (previously their trains had reached the capital via the London & North Western Railway to Euston). The surviving buildings, of local yellow brick, are on the Down side of the tracks but following modernisation all four platforms are islands reached by the footbridge.
