March railway station serves the town of March in Cambridgeshire. The station is 14 miles east of Peterborough on the Ely to Peterborough Line. The station opened in 1867.

The cast-iron columns and spandrels give an idea of the former grandeur of a station which once had seven platforms and was an important junction. Light was strong and shadows deep on a fine April evening.
