Burnt-out shell of St Mary's Church
St Mary's was built in 1873 to a design by Thomas Henry Wyatt, who was also architect of St John's and St Peter's churches in March and St Peter's at Wimblington. On 15 March 2010 it was set ablaze deliberately.

St Mary's Church Westry - Will it will rise from the ashes?
St Mary's church, Westry near March was completely gutted by a fire on Monday 15th March 2010. The following day demolition and salvage contractors David Humphrey and Son were on site preparing to remove the charred roof timbers and make the building safe so that restoration experts could access the damage.
