Waldersea Main Drain near Wisbech
Until a few years ago this was the final drain in the Waldersea drainage system before the water was pumped into the River Nene by this pumping station http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2927159. I believe the drainage system now feeds into the River Nene via a different drain and new station about a mile closer to Guyhirn, see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1172112

Drainage junction, Waldersea near Wisbech
The Waldersea Main Drain meets The Fourteen Foot Drain. If you look on Google Earth many of the old creeks which meandered through this area of fenland before it was drained are still clearly visible
