Sulehay House, 32 Old Market, Wisbech
Grade II* Listed house with a rainwater head dated 1723. Raised to two storeys in the 19th century. It was built as a town house by the wealthy Taylor family whose country house was at Leverington, to the north. The family were bailiffs and Lord Lieutenants. In the nineteenth century it became a doctors house and in the 1950’s a Kitchen was added to the rear. It was acquired by the East of England Buildings Preservation Trust in 1996 who undertook £300,000 worth of restoration with a significant grant from English Heritage.

The Elephant and Castle Inn - Public Houses, Inns and Taverns of Wisbech
The cream building on the right was once The Elephant and Castle on North Street, Wisbech which runs from The Old Market to The River Nene.
