Quadring: the post office
Curiously, the post office is no longer marked on the latest 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 maps - perhaps this is as a result of a temporary closure between 10 May 2000 and 23 May 2002. It has been revamped with modern Post Office signage since JThomas's photo of the building in 2013 (Image) and inside it is a well stocked convenience store with post office counters on one side. The village has had a post office since September 1852.
