Leaving Pinchbeck West
The Macmillan Way long distance path leaves Pinchbeck West and continues to follow the south bank of the River Glen entering more remote territory. Here, looking back at the village, the River is behind the bank to the left. There is an area of low lying marshy ground between the river and the minor road known as Slipe Drove. The whole section would be flooded if the river had not been channelled.
