The tradename of the Welland electrical company this is another New Street shop that has been here since I was a boy. Cameras, TVs, and all sorts of things have been offered here down the years.

Red Lion Street
Nice Georgian-style house in Red Lion Street. As ever round here the style of a building may not be an accurate guide to its date - the town is a mixture of architectural conservatism and experimentation - and the height of the floors suggests this is probably a late Victorian building.

Commercial building
One of the more attractive buildings in New Road, which appears to have been built with rather more architectural ambition than craft skills, judging by the odd angles.

Outpost
Although most of the market stalls in town are in the market place outside the old White Hart, the market also extends here into New Road.
This is saturday afternoon and this fruit and veg stall was just packing up.

Red Lion Quarter
South Holland District Council tried to create a boutique shopping quarter around the old red lion, with the intention of showcasing locally grown food and craft bakers etc. it was not a commercial success and is now an educational establishment run by Boston College.
